Account information

When you sign in to Lobby, we collect basic profile information depending on how you authenticate:

• Farcaster sign-in: your Farcaster ID (FID), username, display name, profile picture, and connected wallet addresses, as provided by the Farcaster network.
• Email or Google sign-in: your email address, name, and profile picture (when available), provided through our authentication partner Privy.

Content you create

We collect and store content you upload or create in Lobby, including videos, thumbnails, room names and descriptions, thread messages, and any text you submit.

Gameplay and activity data

We collect information about your activity in Lobby, such as game scores (Darts, Map Trivia, Video Map Trivia), challenge entries, upvotes, rooms joined, videos viewed, and credits spent or earned.

Wallet and blockchain data

If you connect a wallet or earn $IAMTHEONE tokens, we store your wallet address to process token distributions on the Base blockchain. Blockchain transactions are public by nature and we do not control or modify on-chain data once it is recorded.

Technical data

We automatically collect limited technical information when you use Lobby, including device type, browser type, approximate location based on IP address, and session timing. This data is used to operate the service and prevent abuse.

2. How We Use Information

• To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
• To display your profile, content, and activity to other users where appropriate.
• To process token rewards, payouts, and airdrops.
• To operate game features, leaderboards, and anti-cheat systems.
• To improve and debug the app.
• To prevent fraud, spam, or abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

Service providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate Lobby:

• Supabase — database and file storage
• Vercel — application hosting
• Privy — authentication and wallet infrastructure for email and Google sign-in
• Neynar — Farcaster identity and wallet lookups
• Farcaster network — for users who sign in via Farcaster
• Base (Coinbase) — blockchain network for $IAMTHEONE token transactions

These providers process information on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy practices.

Public visibility

Some information is public by design, including your username, profile picture, uploaded videos, room and thread contributions, and gameplay scores shown on leaderboards. Wallet addresses associated with on-chain rewards are also public on the Base blockchain.

Legal compliance

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Lobby, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Contact below). Some data may be retained for a limited period afterward for legal, security, or operational reasons. Blockchain transactions cannot be deleted from the public ledger.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

• The right to access information we hold about you.
• The right to request correction or deletion of your information.
• The right to object to or restrict certain uses.
• The right to data portability.
• The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with comprehensive data protection laws have similar rights under applicable law.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our databases. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Lobby is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

Lobby uses browser local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate core features. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings.

9. International Users

Lobby is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Lobby after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
